Cloud Resume Challenge | Feb 2022

Built this website using AWS, S3, IAM, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route 53, and ACM Certificates.

Infrastructure is managed with Terraform (IaC), and deployments are automated via GitHub Actions CI/CD, triggered on pull request merges to main branch. Cypress handles testing for HTML/CSS integrity and URL liveness.

Associate Cloud Infrastructure Engineer | REPAY  (Dec 2022 - Current)

- Performed EKS cluster version upgrades, supported development teams with AWS requests, and maintained CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and monitoring.


Associate DevOps Engineer | REPAY  (May 2022 - Dec 2022)

- Supported several development teams with AWS guidance, CI/CD methods, and cloud infrastructure maintenance and monitoring.

- Worked daily with YAML, Terraform, Bash scripting, and AWS cloud services.


Systems Analyst | Silicon Valley Bank  (Jun 2021 - Dec 2021)

- Led an initiative to improve a critical batch application, reducing nightly processing time by over 75%.

- Partnered with business stakeholders and developers to build out vendor and internally developed software systems.

- Troubleshot issues in data and application layers, identified root causes, and coordinated team efforts to resolve and deploy fixes efficiently.


Technical Program Manager | Choice Hotels Intl  (Feb 2020 - Feb 2021)

- Consulted on a large initiative to onboard new partner vendors, driving loyalty program features and improved member value.

- Led requirements gathering and development backlog management, maintaining and prioritizing development requests.

- Collaborated closely with the Product Manager to guide small enhancements and support development teams, with daily use of Jira, dashboards, and leadership reporting tools.


Sr Application Analyst | Petsmart  (Mar 2019 - Feb 2020)

- Served as primary analyst on a project implementing an automated service appointment reminder system, reducing labor costs and increasing revenue by over $3MM annually.

- Served as one of the lead Application Analysts troubleshooting issues with a newly custom-built Salesforce-based service tracking system used by over 1,600 global stores, working closely with engineers and the business to drive and report on success metrics.

- Transitioned into a Software Engineer role upon project completion, recognized by leadership as a strong technical contributor and problem solver.


Technical Analyst | Choice Hotels Intl  (Mar 2017 - Mar 2019)

- Monitored and analyzed data to resolve day-to-day technical problems using toolsets like Kibana, Grafana, and other log analysis tools, including raw Apache web server and Linux system logs.

- Directly supported the development team by triaging and prioritizing incoming work requests and break-fix issues, coordinating what needed to be resolved by developers. Embedded within a scrum team as the primary contact for development intake across the organization.


Enterprise Application Support Engineer | Choice Hotels Intl  (Nov 2014 - Mar 2017)

- Served as first contact for troubleshooting most applications in the company ecosystem, escalating findings to the development team with recommendations for resolution.

- Supported hundreds of systems across over 40 applications, troubleshooting performance and data issues.

- Helped build a new support team through interviewing and assessing technical aptitude, then trained and mentored team members in Linux, databases, APIs, and ticketing systems.
